Grow as a counselor with excellent supervision.

About the Supervisor

Peri Rogers is a board approved licensed supervisor in Virginia. She offers supervision opportunities for interns and residents in counseling pursuing LPC licensure as well as those pursuing licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Peri is a compassionate and supportive supervisor who combines spiritual guidance with practical counseling skills. She empowers her interns and residents to develop their unique styles and encourages personal and professional growth. She holds 3 main focuses when it comes to supervising:

  1. Practical Insight. Peri is committed to providing practical wisdom often not taught in academia or a standard supervision program. She ensures her interns and residents are holistically equipped to be excellent clinicians.

  2. Personalized Approach. Recognizing that each counselor has individual needs, Peri tailors her approach to meet specific goals and challenges. She offers personalized support, opportunities for growth, and practical advice to ensure supervisees are well-equipped for success. She joyfully meets you where you are.

  3. Focus on the True Healer. With a genuine and transparent approach, Peri helps supervisees connect with the True Healer and witness His transformative work in their clients' lives.

Beyond the Basics

Testimonials

  • "Peri has a rare gift of translating field experience to life-changing wisdom! She never fails to share her wisdom with warmth and care through a compassionate heart to serve others!  She is continually reflective in her approach to supervision, relationally supportive, and empowering. She often challenges me to embrace new perspectives, think outside of the box, and explore possible blind spots as they hinder me from appropriate case conceptualization. Beyond her supervision skills, it is the culture of humility, courageous vulnerability, and progress over perfection that I have come to appreciate most about my time with her.  She encourages me to grow both professionally and personally! I am forever grateful for her supervision and support”

    -Pooja, LPC Resident

  • “Peri is a culturally sensitive, supportive supervisor who responds to what I need in supervision. She allows me to develop my unique style during residency so that I am not locked into the philosophy of a group practice. Her spirituality and faith-based background is a plus to those seeking such support. At the same time, she is well-grounded in counseling theories and techniques for those who don’t require such support. She is accessible and approachable and responds to concerns in a timely manner. She works tirelessly to ensure everything runs smoothly. She helps me to develop into a competent, well-rounded therapist.”

    -Jane, LPC Resident

  • "I've been blessed to have Peri as my counseling supervisor. Her guidance has been more than just professional; it's been deeply spiritual. She listens not just to what I say, but to what God might be saying through our supervision sessions. Peri has a gift for bringing every question or concern back to God's perspective. Peri’s love for the Lord shines through who she is as a supervisor. She often reminds me that it's not about having all the answers, but about journeying with our clients towards God's healing. Her guidance hasn’t only strengthened my professional skills, but also deepened my spiritual understanding of counseling."
